Hotel Description
Hilton House Hotel is a Georgian period family home converted to hotel use in the 70's and gradually adapted and modernised within over time. The hotel was bought by new owners Colin and Zoe Clark at the start of the recession in December 2008 and are gradually changing the feel of the hotel to make it more welcoming and friendly.The previously closed public bar is now open and during winter the real log fire is lit making it cosier and more attractive to the locals creating a homely feel.The restaurant has had its menus changed and offers good sized portions at reasonable prices.The hotel has 10 bedrooms 4 of which are in a separate cottage whose en-suites comprise of baths that are due to be modernised during the summer of 2009. One of the rooms is offered as a family room with a double and single bed. One of the rooms has had a King Sized bed installed since Colin and Zoe bought the hotel. The remainder are a mixture of twin and double all offered for single occupancy if necessary.

A516 from Derby through Mickleover signposted to Uttoxeter - straight over junction with A50 into village of Hilton. Turn right at small rounabout continue straight along Main Street past Old Talbot pub and post office. Turn left into Mill Lane.A50 from either Uttoxeter or Donington take J5 towards Hilton and follow above directions.A38 from Burton - Turn off at JET service station signposted Hilton. Turn right at T junction keep going over railway line until reach village. Straight over 2 new roundabouts keep Tesco Express on your left hand side continue along Eggington Road. Turn left at T junction with Old Talbot on your left follow Main street for 250m past post office turn left into Mill Lane
